This is your Call to Arms, come join us for a great weekend of Scottish and Irish Culture and History. Join us and Engage in all sorts of fun activities and contest. We will be hosting a Highland Games as well as several contest, Such as the Bonnie Knee and the Fairest Maiden contest. An exhibit of dogs from the British Isles, and a special visit from The Queen Mary of Scots and King Sigtryggr of Ireland. We look forward to a day of Tartans and bag Pipes, and we hope you can join us in celebrating such a rich culture and heritage.

Come register to participate in the Inaugural Celtic Festival, where you can set up and display your Clan’s heritage and history. Our proud Military can show pride for their Post or Branch of service as Well as Fire, EMS and Police. We welcome all Clans no matter the size, Hò-rò!

Do you sell Kilts, Sporrans and more goodies that all folks love? Are you a Meat Pie vendor or alike? We have a place for you. Apply as a vendor today for both weekends or for just our Celtic weekend and help us bring the spirit of the Highlands to West Texas.

Do you have a Celtic themed act? Musicians, actors, dancers, storytellers, and unique performers are invited to entertain the crowds and help bring the Celtic Festival to life. Space will be limited so apply today to secure your spot.

Do you want to test your strength, determination and grit? Join us for WTRF’s First ever Highland Games. Compete against other patrons across the basin to show you are the best Warrior of West Texas. These events were often to test Strength, Skill and Bravery, so come join us and show the Permian Basin who the best is.
King Sigtryggr Presents
This is a fun contest where you earn ribbons to compete in the contest, and you are judged by a Royal Court and the crowd on your kilt, your knees and your charm. We will also have the Fairest Maiden Contest for our Right Proper Ladies, also judged by the Royal Court see page for rules and details.
Queen Mary of Scotland Presents
The Queen’s tea is a great activity where you can sit down enjoy stories from the Queen herself all while enjoying delicious pastries and Tea. Visit the page to learn more about what the Queen and her court have in store for you.
